Social Media Content Creator and
Graphic Designer Work Placement
January- June 2026, 4 days a week 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
£500 a month expenses paid
Mainly remote working from home with visits to the Graduate Fashion Foundation’s London office once a month from Jan - April and then once a week in the GFW Office in May and June in the run-up to the annual GFW event. Travel to the office to be covered at our own expense from our paid expenses.
Graduate Fashion Foundation has a role available for a work placement student that is interested in gaining experience and skills in fashion and events.
About the role:
● Strong graphic design skills
● Accomplished use of Adobe Suite InDesign and Photoshop to create refreshing and engaging brand
graphics for social, web, and events following GFF brand guidelines.
● Supporting Brand Partnerships team with Pitch Presentation Decks and Graphic Assets
● Creating fresh social media graphics for brand partner launches and liaising with brand partner teams
● Designing strong graphical in-house GFF presentations for monthly trustee meetings and biannual All
Colleges meetings and events
● Curating content from the charity's image bank of past events and activities
● Creating engaging content for our student, graduate, and industry audiences
● The role will work closely with the Communications & Social Media Manager, Brand Partnership Manager,
as well as the wider event team.
● Working as part of the Digital Event Communications team during Graduate Fashion Week to deliver onsite
graphics for the event working within a fast-paced environment
● Working closely with our external graphic designer on all event signage and install for the Graduate Fashion
Week event
● Supporting with post-event reports for brand partners
● Creating fun and engaging video shorts for use on social media, websites, and newsletters.
● Strong skills in TikTok edits and video creation.
● Knowledge of video editing
● Working to organically grow our following on all channels
The ideal candidate will be:
● Highly skilled in graphic design and digital layout
● Graphic design savvy
● Eye for composition and creative layout skills
● Fast and accomplished use of Adobe Suite
● A social media native with experience creating video content for Reels and TikTok
● Understanding of social trends and algorithms to create content that connects with the GFF audience and
grows the platform
● Creative, strategic, and full of new content creation ideas for the GFF platforms
● Confident and outgoing, happy to chat with new people and work in a team
● Able to multitask and work quickly during busy events
● Good written English skills are required.

Event & Projects Assistant Work Placement

About the Role:
Work alongside the senior management team to plan and deliver Graduate Fashion Week 2026 and our annual calendar of events and special projects.
● Assist with general office management and admin tasks.
● On-site support at Graduate Fashion Week 2026 (You must be available to work 15-18th June)
● Assist with the annual photoshoot; obtain and return garments.
● Assisting with brand partnership projects and deliverables
● Compiling and editing images for presentations, social media, and websites
● Researching specific ad hoc projects and trends
● Ordering items online and from new and existing suppliers
● Booking and handling of event logistics
● Send out invitations and communications to databases
● Assisting with ticket sales for group bookings
● Assisting with marketing materials
● Organise taxi transport for event VIPs and judges.
● Record keeping and archiving
● Opportunity to work across the whole company with all team members. Very versatile.
