Open Call:
International member universities are invited to participate, with each allowed to submit a maximum of three entries.
Submission Requirements:
Participants must submit a high-quality, contemporary digital fashion portfolio. This portfolio should showcase a unique creative identity and illustrate the design process from initial concepts to final presentation, including a maximum size of 10MB and no more than 15 pages. It should feature a mood board, research, development, the final project, and a supporting statement. Appropriate fabric swatches may be included.
Judging Criteria:
Portfolios will be evaluated based on their visual communication, demonstrating extensive research linked to ideas, an understanding of fashion's future, and potentially fabric swatches. Submissions can cover various fashion areas, including accessories, gender-fluid wear, menswear, textiles, and womenswear.
Timeline and Judging Process:
Award Submission Deadline: Monday, May 19, 2025, at 6 p.m.
Industry experts will judge all online entries. The winner and runner-up will be announced at the Graduate Fashion Week 2025 reception following the GFWi catwalk show at The Truman Brewery on Sunday, June 15. If the winner and runner-up cannot attend, the international award will be accepted for them, and the trophy will be sent to them after the event.
