Caryn Franklin MBE, Professor of Diversity, GFW Global Trustee and Former Fashion Editor at i-D, has had an extensive and influential career in the industry. From gaining a masters degree in Psychology, to lecturing at Kingston University, Caryn is a pioneer of championing mental health in fashion specifically and a refreshing advocate for a disruptive, political and inclusive industry.
During Graduate Fashion Week 2018, Caryn held a two part workshop titled 'Survive and Thrive', created to educate the audience in the practices of emotional intelligence, and equip the listeners with tools to overcome stress and thrive. Caryn applied the methodology of critical thinking to real life situations in this highly motivational workshop. Here at GFW, we feel that everyone should have access to this positive and significant advice, and as such, have created a podcast so you can listen again and again.
