GFF ANNOUNCES 30 INDUSTRY MENTORS FOR THE CLASS OF 2020 MENTORING PROGRAMME, AS PART OF THEIR 30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

Graduate Fashion Foundation announces the continuation of the successful Graduate Fashion Mentoring Programme, this year supporting the Class of 2020 who graduated in June whose studies were greatly affected by the pandemic. The mentoring programme is aimed to provide support as they enter into the fashion industry and as they transition into the next step of their career by pairing them with a long-term experienced industry mentor.

GFF Alumni Sarah Louise Koessler Featured in Swarovski Ad

How exciting is this? GFF Alumni, Sarah Louise Koessler from the University of Brighton, has had one of her designs chosen for Swarovski’s new campaign “Wonderlab”. As part of the Swarovski rebrand, Louise’s design worn by British model Adwoa Aboah in a film campaign directed by Giovanna Engelbert.

GFW Visits...Oxfam WasteSaver

In the UK alone, 11,000 bales of textiles end up in landfill every week, so developing ways to reduce this waste is a lucrative skill. GFW travelled up to Yorkshire with 20 final year graduates to visit Oxfam WasteSaver to learn about reducing, reusing and recycling clothing and textiles.
