Get to know ESMOD France, the fashion school which is spread across two campuses: Paris and Lyon. ESMOD offers two options for undergraduate design courses and one undergraduate course in fashion business. Students can earn their Fashion Design undergraduate degree in three years, or in two by taking the accelerated Intensive Program.

Because design is never as accurate as when it is approached technically, ESMOD has merged its design and pattern-making courses to provide students with a complete overview of the design process, from concept to manufacturing. Get to know 10 of ESMOD’s talented fashion design graduates below!

Rayia Lahoud

It’s the story of a girl, who’s not really a girl, always chasing the thrill. Give her pens and glue, and she’ll DIY a house for her little monster toys. She might get bigger and older, her monster toys still talk to her. She moved a lot, and started seeing them everywhere. Her monster friends keep her company. They hide behind cars, in sewers, on rooftops. They sing her songs and laugh. She started making clothes, and they are still here. Full of colors and smiles, their nails dig deep in her skin and become her. Sticking to the sole of her Dr. Martens, they run down their streets with their little protégée. Boring wall ? Turn it purple. Boring store ? Release the ghosts.

This collection is a kaleidoscopic vision of reality, like a prison of surrealist and futuristic images.

Daniela Schmid
This collection aims to show how architecture becomes clothing and clothing becomes architecture. The geometry of a building and its facade looping around the body create new graphic, sober and structured silhouettes.

Yajie Chen
My main inspiration for this collection is artificial intelligence. The digital world of printing, plastic and mechanical perfection guided my design and overall aesthetic to give a futuristic and dystopic feel.

Huinan Zeng
“Don’t call me.” Nowadays, we use so many social media platforms and we are so used speaking thru the internet. We are scared of having face to face communication. That is what inspired this me when creating this collection.

Felix Lapesch

I am inspired by antique sculptures and modern art installations. I created by bachelor collection called “powerful sensuality” to showcase the beauty of the human body and the volume of plastic bags used in a particular modern art piece.

Hanna Léa

The universe of technology and computer science were my biggest inspirations for this collection. Luxury accessories adapted to fit the most connected generation? That’s the goal. This collection makes the connection between design and technology.

Amanda Sandbergs
In the future, humanity as as we know it is nothing but a memory. The people who now inhabit the earth are descendants from another world. They have inherited our clothes, our houses and our cities. But, they did not inherit our values, nor our prejudices. They know nothing about ugly or beautiful bodies, femininity or masculinity. The body is mixed with clothes, without restrictions.

Hugo Castejon-Blanchard

My collection deals with numbers, paperwork , archives and other fields related to administration. It is my own personal experience since I studied management for two years before entering the world of fashion and I wanted to draw upon this experience for this collection.

Salomé Valabregue

My garments are designed for a curious city girl who lives on adventures and discoveries she shares with her entourage. She builds her wardrobe over her discoveries. We define her as natural, curious, generous and sophisticated.
