The Gala Award show finishes off our four days of a fashion spectacular with students from our member universities winning life changing awards. The Gala show presents the top 25 catwalk collections alongside the award presentations of various awards including but not limited to the Christopher Bailey Gold Award, M&S Womenswear Award, Debenhams Menswear Award, Visionary Knitwear Award, Catwalk Textiles Award, Hilary Alexander Trailblazer Award and George Catwalk to Store. Our Gala Award show is the biggest and best show of GFW, presenting the ultimate talent that our member universities have to offer. The Gala Award show is one of the most prestigious shows attracting lots of VIP’s, previously including Henry Holland, Alesha Dixon, Hilary Alexander, Myleene Klass and Vivienne Westwood to name a few!
GFW offers and showcases an incomparable amount of emerging fashion talent, and our Gala Award Show concludes the immense expertise, passion and drive our graduates have for the future of fashion. GFW celebrates the next generation of forward thinkers, skilful, designers, creative craftmen and couture enthusiasts who will one day shape the future and direction of trends, style and politics within the fashion industry.
