As the first day of GFW comes to an end, it means it’s time to announce the awards winners. Chairman of Graduate Fashion Week, Mark Newton Jones summarised the day by stating “I have been overwhelmed, given the terrible incident last night in London that it hasn’t stopped people from coming along.” After a day packed with events, catwalks, displays, interactive events, and tutorials, it truly shows how dedicated everyone who takes part are for GFW. The awards for the first day of Graduate Fashion Week are:

Boux Avenue Swimwear & Lingerie Award

Swimwear Award Winner: Lucy Watkins from De Montfort University

Lingerie Award Winner: Charley Chiddle from De Montfort University
