As day two of Graduate Fashion Week 2021 draws to a close we would like to share some of our highlights with you! The home of GFW21, Coal Drops Yard has been buzzing today with excited visitors, speakers and guests! Scroll down to get an insight of the day we’ve had!

The GFW Live! Talk space opened with the Black Girl Knit Club’s founders, Sicgmone Kludje and Vea Koranteng. They shared their club values: community, confidence and craft. A surprise guest visit from Beatrice Korlekie led to a conversation about their collaborations and how their backgrounds have influenced their work.

Later on in the day we welcomed the Fashion Minority Alliance. The three pillars of the Fashion Minority Alliance are facilitate, motivate and advocate; they aim to inspire the industry to become open for all.

It is time for the mean girls to move over as we present You can sit with us.

This afternoon we presented Theodoulos Evangelou’s film for our partner Shelter. Theodoulos' film Hostile Environment has earned him a spot as one of our finalists. The film was created to raise awareness of the bad housing crisis and issues of homelessness.
