It’s been a busy day of judging here at Second Home in Shoreditch, where 20 judges from across the fashion industry have been busy deliberating over the work of graduates from our member universities. From Fashion Range Planning to Fashion Illustration, the awards have been an opportunity for GFF to support and celebrate the incredible work of the Class of 2020.

“There are so many amazing concepts and so much innovation— it’s very exciting to see where the new generation in fashion is moving,” said Rachael Healy, social content creator from @UKAfrolista. Rachael and Ella H of @AuthenticallyElla were the judges for the New Fashion Media Award, meeting graduates in person and on video calls to learn more about their work and chose their top 3 finalists for the award.

“There were so many different concepts and ideas,” said Ella. “it’s really exciting to see how well everyone has adapted COVID and was able to present such incredible ideas over Zoom calls and in person. I wonder if none of this had happened, what we would have actually seen.
