KINGSTON #2 IN BOF GLOBAL FASHION SCHOOL RANKINGS

Graduate Fashion Week are thrilled to congratulate, along with a number of our member universities, Kingston University BA(Hons) Fashion degree, having elevated to second place in prestigious Business of Fashion Global Fashion School Rankings. The high-profile recognition cements our member universities among the highest ranked fashion universities world wide. 

Having shown successfully at Graduate Fashion Week’s 25th Anniversary, amongst a wealth of talent, 2016 Kingston graduate Caoimhe Savage carried off the prestigious Debenhams Menswear Award with a colourful military-inspired collection.

The show was one you would not want to miss, creating an unforgettable atmosphere and displaying an aptitude of gifted individuals work. We are overjoyed to be associated with Kingston and the genius that their incredible tutors nurture to form some of top fashion talent in the world!

The global fashion school rankings are part of BoF’s annual report on the state of fashion education, which includes in-depth analysis of key geographies and detailed profiles of the top 50 undergraduate and top 25 graduate fashion programmes. The rankings were released following months of rigorous assessment, which included surveying top industry figures, academics and human resources professionals to amass their views on institutions' global influence. The experience of students was also a key focus, with undergraduates asked for feedback on the quality of teaching and learning at their institutions. Courses were additionally measured on their long-term value, examining graduates' readiness to embark on careers in the real world and the employment opportunities they went on to pursue.
