At Graduate Fashion Week, we want to encourage our graduates and students to showcase their collections and work to a variety of audiences to ensure success in your future career. Breaking into the industry and gaining recognition is often found in a culmination of award wins, industry experiences through internships and of course self promotion.

One award that begun five years ago and has quickly risen to become one of the most sought after titles for young designers, is the LVMH prize. The LVMH Group- Louis Vuitton, Moet, Hennessy a luxury goods company working alongside 60 subsidiaries of prestigious global brands are hosting the LVMH Prize for the fifth year running.

Launched in 2013, the LVMH prize was designed to honour and support young fashion designers around the world. Each year a young designer and three graduates from various fashion schools can win a prestigious prize. The three graduates and their school will receive a 10,000 euro grant and an opportunity to work as part of the LVMH team for a year.

This incredible competition will be judged by a panel of highly recognised professionals and experienced industry experts including Maria Grazia Chiuri, Creative Director of Dior, Karl Lagerfield, Creative Director of Fendi, Nicholas Ghesquiere, Creative Director of Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs just to name a few.

It is an amazing opportunity for students wanting to gain a head start into the competitive fashion industry, with many of the past winners going on to gain an award at the British Fashion Awards, and start their careers in highly established fashion houses.

To enter, each student must provide six photos of their own creations along with a description of their work. The deadline is the 15th May 2018, enter here now!
