HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE NAMED AN AWARD WINNER?

I am immensely grateful for having been awarded the M&S Best of Womenswear. I could not have done it without my friends and family who have supported me all the way. Also I must say thanks to the sponsors and judges who gave me this award. This is big confidence boost for me; it’s highly encouraging to continue my career as a womenswear designer.

WHAT HAVE BEEN DOING SINCE GFW?

My aspiration currently is to invest my award in undergoing further training at MA level and I am awaiting confirmation of an offer for a place starting in September. I am also trying to find a part time job in UK.

WHAT ARE YOU HOPES FOR THE FUTURE?

In the future I hope I can get the chance to work in a fashion house. But also get some freelance job as well.

HAS BEING INVOLVED WITH GFW LED TO ANYTHING ELSE?

Yes, GFW has opened me up to a few opportunities. I have been receiving interview invitations for roles within some fashion companies. And some universities have offered me the chance for me to continue my MA degree.

WHEN DID YOU FIRST HEAR ABOUT GFW?

My first time hearing about GFW was when I began my BA Fashion course at University of Creative Arts, London.
