We’re really excited to share GFF Alumni Mariah Esa’s second collection with iconic fashion retailer Browns! she’s part of an incubator called Browns Focus, which just relaunched with a roster of emerging men’s and womenswear designers who are shaking up the industry.
We’re so excited to share that GFW19 Shein People’s Choice Award winner Mariah Esa has just launched a capsule collection with Browns! The De Montfort University graduate’s collection that won over the public was made from repurposed labels thrown away in the fast fashion industry. Esa sourced labels that were either over produced or classed as rejects in the fast fashion industry and transformed them into a base fabric by attaching them together.
2020 marks the 20 year anniversary of trainer store, and GFW19 partner, Size? To celebrate, the brand curated a two-day preview show and installation to delve deeper into its past, present and future. GFW19 award winner Mariah Esa was invited to take part in the exhibition as part of a handpicked group of future tastemakers which are on the Size? radar.
Graduate Fashion Week is excited to announce it will be present for the first time this September at London Fashion Week in the British Fashion Council’s Positive Fashion Exhibition with a new ‘GFW Presents…’ stand from Friday 13th – Tuesday 17thSeptember. GFW Presents… will showcase the work of four talented Graduate Fashion Week 2019 alumni, who’s collections were part of the Best of GFW Top 28 Collection show in June.
