LITTLE BLACK DRESS

LITTLE BLACK DRESS

Little Black Dress are sponsoring #GFW17! At Graduate Fashion Week we pride ourselves on being inclusive and celebrating diversity, and our sponsors really reflect that ethos this year.  The little black dress is considered a classic garment, thanks to the likes of Holly Golightly and many more, but LBD put twist on the classic, much like many of the students that show with GFW.

Little Black Dress recently ran a 'celebrity gown' competition, with the chance to design a dress that Alesha Dixon will wear. The shortlisted candidates will be announced on our website very soon, so if you entered, make sure to watch this space very closely over the next few days!

The winner of the competition will be announced 3rd May.

"We have over 80 wonderful brands, including our own exclusive labels and the best of designer, boutique and high street. We recently launched our biggest collection yet with singer and Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon’s debut fashion range, available exclusively on our site. We have also collaborated with up-and-coming designer Jodie Fleischmann on our first ever Black by Little Black Dress collection, a premium range of couture-worthy dresses. We’re so excited about being part of Graduate Fashion Week and can’t wait to see you!"

Holly Fulton Bag

Holly Fulton Bag

In advance of Graduate Fashion Week 2017 and the Tu Scholarship Award, GFW are pleased to announce that Tu at Sainsbury’s have teamed up with fashion designer and ambassador Holly Fulton to produce a limited-edition tote shopper to support the charity. Launching in stores and online on 19th March, the special edition tote is adorned with a modern geometric design in navy and coral, taking inspiration from Holly’s love of British Folk Art.

“We wanted to select a design that reflected both our design identity and also encapsulated the spirit of dynamism, innovation and energy that the partnership between GFW and Sainsbury’s represents. Drawing on my love of British folk art, we wanted to create a strong geometric motif that would give the bag a powerful focus geared towards Summer and evocative of the barge paintings found in traditional canal boats across Britain. Hand drawn and using colours from our signature palette, the result is intended to be used every day to bring a sense of contemporary, individual fun to consumers.”

Holly Fulton, Designer and Graduate Fashion Week Ambassador

“Holly is a wonderful designer, who has shown at LFW for many years and is admired by many for her amazing prints and design work, so it is an absolute delight that she has agreed to design a bag for the charity. Holly is one of our ambassadors who works closely with our graduates and so we are thrilled that she has agreed to support us in this way."

Martyn Roberts, Managing Director of Graduate Fashion Week

The bag is available in 398 stores now!
