The Fashion and Textiles programme at the University of Brighton offers thriving, well-established courses in Fashion Design, Textile Design and Fashion Communication. All the undergraduate degrees combine the development of key creative skills with business experience, an industry placement and a focus on sustainability.

The atmosphere was loud with cheers and whistles throughout the catwalk in support for the graduates. The Brighton graduates used a lively use of colour whilst many were experimental with shape: often designing large shouldered jackets and asymmetric garments.  A popular choice of design was to mix patterns and textures into one singular garment, in particular one jacket featuring leopard print and gingham.

All graduates have already had industry experience from brands such as Burberry, Mulberry, Molly Goddard and Gap.
